When we hear the gospel, God gives us the faith we need to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. But the faith we need to walk in every day is something we acquire by studying the Bible to know God, His ways, and His plans for us. The more we study, the closer we’re drawn to Jesus and the stronger our faith in Him grows. The words on the pages become life to our souls as we fill up on His Truth. Then, when we face scary situations, we can look to Jesus with absolute confidence, knowing He will get us through it all with victory.
