As parents, we love our children and would sacrifice anything to save them from a disaster. This is how God loves us. He created us and walked with Adam and Eve in the garden, but when sin entered them, He was forced to leave because God is Holy. But He NEVER stopped loving His children. So, He became a man and died on the cross to pay the punishment for our sins so we could be free. This is love! And when we know Jesus, God’s love in us replaces our old nature, and we become like Him. We want to treat others as He treats us because His love rules in us, and His love never fails!
