Many Christians have walked away from God because of a bad church experience. They’ve been hurt by a leader or a congregation member, and in ignorance, blame God. But God is faithful and does not change; His Word does not change. It’s people who change, are deceiving and self-righteous, and try to hurt us. We can NOT allow them to dictate who we are in Christ. We study the Bible to know Jesus, so we can follow and obey Him! And if we’re not blessed in the church we attend, then we change churches, but we DO NOT walk away from God! We seek Him all the more because HE is the One we serve!
