Christians follow Jesus and cherish the things of God. We worship Him because He is our Lord and Savior, who took our sins and bore the punishment for them, freeing us from eternal wrath and giving us a glorious future with Him in Heaven. When stress and challenges come our way—and they do—we direct our focus to Jesus, on what He has done for us, is doing, and will do. His blessings are permanent and come with the promise that He’s coming soon to take us Home. So we sing praises to our Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with us.
