Jesus warned us in Matthew 24 about the evil in the world that would precede His wrath. People would turn from Him to serve evil, choosing lawlessness over peace as wars, rumors of wars, and unrest surround us. And the prophet Isaiah (5:20) said that in these days, good and evil would trade places. All these things are happening today, filling many with fear and hopelessness. But, for us who know Jesus as our Savior, we have hope in His promise, and we are to comfort one another in it: Jesus will come and take us out of here before His wrath on sin begins (1 Thessalonians 15:51-52). Let’s keep reading His Word and looking up, because Jesus, our only hope, is coming soon to take us Home!
