Faith is the confidence we have in someone or something, believing without doubt what’s been promised. As believers in Jesus, our faith is in Him because He’s our Lord, and His Word is True, never fails, and never changes! If God said it, we put our faith in Him, believe it, and expect it despite any doubt we see, hear, or feel from those around us. We don’t prepare a backup plan; our confidence is in God alone, knowing that He WILL do what He promised, and so we wait on the Lord because He is faithful.
