When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we become new creatures in Christ; we want to follow Him, not the ways of the world. We study the Bible to know Jesus and what He did for us on the cross—He pardoned our sins, sparing us from God’s wrath on sin, freeing us from the bondage of this world, and becoming our Lord who loves us and cares for all our needs. But the world is subtle and deceiving, always trying to steal, kill, and destroy our faith in God. So, every morning we rise and ask God for His direction and protection so we can do His will and glorify Jesus in everything we say and do.
