Tonight, many of us will make resolutions with the hope of being better people in the new year. However, most will fall to the wayside due to the lack of inspiration once the holidays are over and daily life returns. But when Christians resolve to be more effective believers, we CAN succeed because of God’s Spirit in us. He teaches us and shows us God’s will when we study the Bible, draws us close to our Heavenly Father when we spend time in prayer, and helps to build our faith in Christ when we praise and worship our Lord. He’ll restore the joy of our salvation so we’ll not only be blessed but be a blessing to others.
