The Christmas season is here, but it’s not all joy for everyone. Many of us are going through rough times that are stealing the joy from us, making it hard to get in the mood for decorating, shopping, or celebrating. But if we know and love the Lord, we must remind ourselves that Christmas is not about these things; it’s about Jesus, and no one can take the joy of the season from us when Jesus is our focus. No gift or decoration will ever replace His gift to us! Despite our circumstances, we can still praise Him for fulfilling His promise to come and save us, and we can still look up with hope and expectation because He’s coming back again—and soon—to take us Home!
