Christmas is that time of year when there’s an attitude of giving in the air. We go to parties and take gifts. We visit friends and give gifts. We even tip people we don’t really know because it’s Christmas. Giving gifts is one of the ways we celebrate the greatest gift of all, our Savior Christ Jesus! Though most of the world had turned from God, Jesus came anyway and gave His life on the cross to save every one of us because He loves us, and we show our love for Him by loving each other. Many can’t give gifts back to us, or don’t understand our reason for giving, but when we give with a cheerful heart, they’ll see the love of God in us—and this is what Christmas is all about!
