Christmas is a busy time of year. Many of us focus on what we must do to make Christmas a success, and being overwhelmed, we forget why we’re even celebrating. We must turn our focus from the chores of Christmas to the reason of Christmas, and ask God to restore our hearts with the joy of His salvation. When we focus on Jesus and the sacrifice He made in leaving His throne in Heaven to become a man who would offer His life for our sins on the cross, our stress turns into joy, and our chaos into honor. And instead of being burdened, our hearts rejoice as we celebrate the night our Savior and King was born.
