Christianity is more than accepting Jesus as our Savior; it’s also following Him as our Lord! Jesus said in John 14:15, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” And in 1 John 4:1, “He who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.” We don’t believe something because we see it; we see something because we believe it! We must read the Bible to know Jesus and fill up with His Truth, and spend time in prayer and worship to develop a relationship with Him. Then, our faith and trust are in the Lord to fulfill His promises and direct our paths. God loves us, and He keeps His Word because He is faithful, and when we believe in Him, we’ll see the goodness of His love toward us.
