“Why me, Lord?” Why do some Christians fight harder battles than the world’s people when God is supposed to be on our side? Well, God IS on our side, but when we don’t know Jesus as our Lord who cares for us, we allow doubt to set in and defeat us. In John 16:33, Jesus warned us that we WOULD have tribulations in this world because Satan hates Him, and wants to destroy everyone who follows Him, but that HE has already overcome the evil one. We must study the Scriptures to know Jesus personally and submit to Him as Lord and depend on HIM to bring us through every trial. Though often in His way and timing, Jesus leads and directs our lives when we trust Him.
