Many of us want to succeed independently in this world. However, its agenda prefers that we put our trust in someone or something that it controls, and for Christians, that often conflicts with our beliefs and values. We must remember that, although the devil is aggressively pushing his evil agenda, Jesus has already overcome it all, and He will help us to overcome it when we put our faith and trust in Him. When we study His Word to get His Truth into our hearts and minds, we develop a relationship with Jesus. When our faith is in Him alone, God meets our needs and blesses us because He loves us and is faithful.
