Most Christians have no idea that Halloween glorifies Satan; they see it as dressing up, having fun, and getting free treats. Halloween is a pagan religious celebration, originating 2000 years ago at the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. The Celts believed that the dead came back to life on this night. They dressed in costumes to honor and worship them, offered burnt sacrifices for protection, and shared gifts of treats to celebrate. Christians do NOT partake in anything that glorifies evil and mocks God—not even in fun for one night! Jesus, our Lord, is our salvation. He gave His life to free us from this very enemy so we could live, and we serve and honor Him every night!
