One of our deepest pains is the loss of a loved one. Their memories surround us, and we struggle to go on without them. But if this loved one knew Jesus, they’re not really gone; they’ve just moved on to a new location, the same eternal home we plan to live in soon. And while we wait for our turn to go, we must see today as time God has given us for a reason. Perhaps someone else needs our help or to hear about Jesus, or we have things in our personal lives that need to be corrected. It hurts to go on without the one we love, but it’s only for a short time because Jesus is coming SOON for the rest of us, and then we’ll be together again, and all of our tears will be tears of joy!
