There are times when we assume God won’t help. We’re either not Christians to ask for help, or are Christians who have caused our own problems and feel we aren’t deserving of God’s help. God may be angry or disappointed with our actions, but He is the epitome of love and mercy. When we humble ourselves before Him and ask for His forgiveness and help, He forgives and helps us. Whether we’re coming to Jesus for the first time or know Him as our Savior, when our hope and faith are in Him, we’ll see that God is abundant in love, grace, mercy, and patience, and that He IS our help in times of trouble.
