Christianity is more than believing that Jesus is the Lord and Savior. James 2:19 states that even the demons believe, but they don’t honor, worship, obey, or serve Him. Accepting Jesus as our Savior is the initial step in believing, but we must then study the Bible so that God’s laws and ways are embedded in our hearts and minds. The more we learn, the closer our relationship with Jesus becomes and the more we love Him, and want to obey and serve Him. Then it’s no longer a chore to follow Jesus but our greatest privilege and joy because His Word has become part of us, and we delight in Him!
