The infamous Halloween night is approaching, and many Christians will participate so their children won’t miss out on the fun. However, God says in Proverbs 22:6 that we are to raise our children in the way they should go, and Ephesians 6:4 instructs us to teach them to follow Jesus. This night of trick or treat is a night of Satan worship when he is glorified, and we can NOT let free candy be a reason to deny Christ and worship the evil one, even for one night. We must choose which master we will follow and teach our children to follow—we can NOT serve both God and the devil (Matthew 6:24). If Jesus truly is our master, then we will love and serve Him EVERY night!
