In this fast-paced world, we expect immediate attention to most of our needs. So, when we pray, we also expect God to answer right away. But God is not fast-paced; He’s eternal, the Alpha and the Omega. He sees the big picture and works everything out to our benefit and to His glory. We don’t rush God, criticize Him, or give up on Him because we have to wait. We must exercise patience, humble ourselves before Him, and thank Him for His love, praise Him for the answer, and trust Him, because He will do what’s best for us—His way and in His timing.
