One of the offences of modern Christianity is the lack of humility towards God. Many feel they are equal to God, demanding His attention and exerting authority over whatever they want in Christ’s name. But when we accept Jesus as our Savior, He also becomes our Lord, the One who watches over us, blesses us, and fights our battles for us. He told us to pray about everything and to give Him our problems, letting Him take care of them. We put our hope and faith in Him because Jesus is our Lord, the One who cares for us, and whose answers often come in His way and timing—not ours!
