Many people say the sinner’s prayer and think they’re Christians. But they fail to read their Bibles, refuse to acknowledge the sin in their lives, and don’t know Jesus because they aren’t filled with His Holy Spirit. But a real Christian says the sinner’s prayer from their heart and repents of their sin, allowing God to fill them with His Holy Spirit. Their thoughts and desires are towards God, not this world or their lusts. They crave to study the Bible to know Jesus so they can follow Him and serve Him with all their hearts. When we become Christians, old things pass away and all things are new in Christ!
