God tells us to bring all of our cares to Him in prayer (Philippians 4:6). In 1 Peter 3:12, we read that God hears the prayers of the righteous, and Mark 11:24 says that whatever we ask God in prayer, believing, we shall receive. Yet sometimes, it seems as if our prayers go unheard because nothing changes. We forget that God watches over us and sees the big picture; He knows what’s best for us, what would bless us, and what would cause us pain or hardship down the road. As His children, we must learn to trust that God hears and answers our prayers, but not always how we expect; sometimes, His answer is “No.”
