Many think they’re Christians because they go to church, yet they don’t know God. Others feel justified because they pray, yet many religions pray. Many feel qualified because they reverence Mary, or speak prophecies, cast out devils, and appear to heal the sick. But Jesus will say to all of them, “Depart from me; I never knew you.” So what makes us Christian? Not religion or tradition. We must recognize that we’re sinners, turn our hearts from the world, and accept Jesus as our Savior. We must worship Christ only, study the Bible, and do HIS will. Then, when we leave this earth, Jesus will say to us, “Well done, good and faithful servant…enter into the joy of your Lord!”
