Many give in to the world’s voice of defeat and surrender. But when we know Jesus and read the Bible, we learn of the victory Jesus gave us through His death and resurrection. His Spirit fills us with His love, and our faith and hope are in Him, not the world. The joy we have in our salvation gives us the strength we need to focus on the One who loves us and is watching over us, and through Him, we can overcome the world. We rejoice in what Jesus has done, is doing, and will do, so that our hearts are prepared for victory, not defeat!
