Having faith is not the same as dreaming or wishing. Faith is the confidence we have in someone or something that assures us the thing we’re petitioning will happen. It’s the substance that enables us to believe, and the power that gives us hope. We can say we have faith, but if we give up because we don’t see the results right away, then it’s not faith; it’s just a wish with no substance. But when we have faith in God, our hope isn’t restricted to what we see, but boundless because of what we know in our hearts.
