Learning to Wait!

Many pray about their problems, but when they don’t see the answer right away, defeat sets in. We must stay focused on Jesus, think on good things (Philippians 4:8), give Him praise and thanks for the victory (1 Thessalonians 5:18), and wait patiently (Philippians 4:6), because God does hear and answer our prayers (1 Peter 3:13). But His ways and timing differ from ours. We must walk by faith, and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), despite the urgency of our problem, and believe that God IS in control. He will give us peace and bring us through with victory (John 16:33) when we wait on the Lord.
