This evil world spreads sin through lies and deception. As Christians, we live here, but this is not our home. We don’t focus on how to succeed in a world that’s heading into God’s wrath, nor do we allow its burdens to defeat us. We focus on Jesus, who defeated sin and death at the cross, gave us eternal life with Him, and has prepared for us something far greater. When we give Jesus our burdens, He leads us through this world and gives us His peace and hope because He is so much greater than this world.
