Christians oppose worldly priorities. We focus on Jesus and His love for us, and follow Him; the world focuses on its rights to power and immoral desires. It celebrates June with parades, marking its pride in the rebellion against God’s moral laws. However, we celebrate Jesus, who has freed us from the sins of this world and given us eternal life with Him. We study the Bible daily to become more like Him, and He fills us with His peace. We no longer belong to this world, and we’re not afraid because God in us is greater than the world around us!
