The Old Testament is filled with the promises of Christ’s coming. Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s promise; He’s the Savior who came to take away the sins of the world. Jesus chose 12 disciples to join His crusades as He taught the people and gained a mighty following. When Jesus rode to the Passover in Jerusalem on a donkey, which is how new kings would ride to their appointments, they bowed before Him and shouted, “Hosanna to the King.” Sadly, when Jesus was nailed to the cross, most fled in disappointment. But we who know Jesus as our Savior know He IS our King, and we continue to shout out our praises!
