It’s often easier to see the bad things in life than the good things. This is because the devil encourages us to dwell on the bad so he’ll get the glory for them. But when we focus on Jesus and what He’s done and is doing, we see His love and mercy and what He’s prepared for us for eternity. God watches over us and cares for us now. He opens closed doors, heals our bodies when the world says it’s impossible, and brings us through trials that we were sure would destroy us. When we train ourselves to see and appreciate the good things the Lord does for us, we’re at peace to glorify Him as He brings us through the bad times.
