We’re all waiting for something. Perhaps it’s a time of joy that we’ve anticipated for a long time or the fear of the unknown that robs us of all joy. Without Jesus, there is no hope because we’re in the clutches of the god of this evil world, who hates everyone. But when we know Jesus, He frees us from Satan’s chains and fills us with life and hope! This world is racing into God’s judgment as it pushes sin and rebellion, and it will cry out in agony when it receives its just reward. But we don’t belong to this world; we belong to God, and Jesus is coming soon to take us out of here. We rejoice and wait for His call!
