Humility is not popular in this corrupt world. People compete to be better and have more than others, replacing Godly values for rights and self-righteousness, bowing to no one except self. It’s not until we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior and study the Bible that we realize we’ve been racing in a doomed world heading for hell. Jesus loves us and died on the cross for our sins, spared us of His soon-coming wrath, and gave us eternal life with Him. This is true humility, that Jesus would leave His throne in Heaven to save us and give us His grace and mercy that we don’t deserve. With humble hearts, we give Jesus our praise.
