The world satisfies our desires to keep us from seeking God. Even many Christians continue in the world’s ways for convenience. But we can NOT serve two masters (Matthew 6:24); we must choose who we will follow. If we truly love Jesus with all our hearts, minds, and souls, we will study our Bibles to know Him and WANT to come out of the world’s ways to follow Him. People can’t see God in us when we’re still part of the world, but when we choose to separate ourselves from its ways to follow Jesus, we become testimonies of God’s love and grace to those who don’t know Him.
