Unexpected situations can change our lives dramatically. We nurture our dreams, make plans, do the groundwork for success, and then bang! Something happens that closes that door forever! The disappointment can crush us into a state of defeat. But as Christians, we must remember that we follow Jesus, and sometimes He closes one door to open another one that’s more important. He has given each of us jobs—to get His salvation message out to as many as possible while there’s still time. Our success comes when we do what He’s called us to do and with a joyful heart. We’re never alone; Jesus is always with us. And one day, we’ll reap our rewards to His glory when we see the fruits of our labor!
