Saying goodbye can be a bitter-sweet emotion. As we leave the old year behind, many feel sorrow, regret, and even anger for desires not met, plans not achieved, and painful situations not expected. But as Christians, we know God is still in control, and that our battles are part of a spiritual war we can’t see. Jesus fights our battles for us when we trust Him, but His ways and timing differ from ours. We can’t view 2024 as a bad year but as a prelude to a better one. So, let’s greet the new year with hope and joy because God loves us and has many good things waiting for us in 2025!
