Long before Jesus was born, the pagans held annual celebrations in honor of their gods with massive feasts, gifts, and decorations. After Jesus died and rose to Heaven, Christians weren’t able to celebrate His birth because the Romans despised Christians and would kill them for rebellion. But when Emperor Constantine reigned, he secretly converted to Christianity and convinced the Christians to celebrate on the same day as the pagans to defuse suspicion. To this day, Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus on Christmas Day, even though we know He was born in the spring. Let the world celebrate its gods, but for me and my house, we will celebrate Jesus!
