Children often ask their dads for things. He may give them exactly what they ask or something He knows is better for them; he may even say no. Our Heavenly Father hears AND answers our prayers and, like our earthly father, will only give us what’s best for us. As we study the Bible and draw close to God, our desires align with Him, and our prayers change from selfish desires to wanting HIS will to be done. And with faith in Him as our Father who loves us, we know that whatever we ask, we WILL receive because we’re praying according to HIS will.
