Many believe in Jesus but are ashamed to admit it for fear of being mocked. Yet, Jesus, who is God in the flesh, King of kings and Lord of lords, was not ashamed to put aside His royalty and become a man so He could die a barbaric death on the cross and redeem us from Satan’s clutches. All of Heaven watched in awe as their King was mocked and tortured by those He came to save. And when He rose from the dead, Heaven rejoiced because Jesus had made way for all of us to be free of sin and live with Him throughout eternity. When we know Jesus, we’re not ashamed of the gospel; we rejoice in it because Jesus, our Savior, loves us that much!
