No joy in this life compares to that of praising the Lord! Alcohol, drugs, or sexual encounters give temporary joy but don’t satisfy the hungry soul. But when we know Jesus as our Savior, He fills us with divine joy and peace that the world can’t know. We come into His presence and are reminded that Jesus redeemed us and we belong to God! He is our Heavenly Father, greater than the god of this world, and He watches over us and cares for all our needs. His steadfast love fills us with joy because we know Jesus is coming soon to take us Home to be with Him forever!
