Many Christians believe they must do all they can in a situation and, when all else fails, ask God for help. This is wrong. It’s not Scriptual; in fact, the Bible tells us just the opposite. Jesus is our Lord, which means He bought us (with His own blood). He is our Provider, Helper, Leader, Healer, Counselor, and Friend. We should NOT go to anyone until AFTER we’ve gone to Jesus because, as our Lord, He watches over and cares for us and gives us all we need at the right time and in the perfect way.
