Competition in sports is healthy and challenging for the mind and body, but it’s not a good mandate for Christians. When we get to Heaven, God won’t reward us based on the size of our job but on how we did it. Our jobs may be minute compared to others, but this isn’t a competition; it’s a unity where God dispurses jobs to all of us in different measures, but all towards one goal: saving the lost. Some may be given a more prominent ministry with more recognition, but that doesn’t make the smaller jobs He’s given us less critical. What matters to God is that we are faithful in what He’s given us to do!
