Sometimes, it’s hard to rejoice or be hopeful when problems or sorrows arise. But as Christians, this is when we rejoice the most: not because of the issues but because Jesus defeated the devil on the cross and had already won the victory OVER them. When we get caught up with the problems, doubt creeps in, and we miss what Jesus is doing—and we can be defeated! But when we are patient and rejoice in the Lord knowing the Truth, the devil flees as the presence of God takes over, and as we pray and rejoice in hope, our faith is built up, and we’ll get the victory through Christ!
