Most churches today have become social gatherings instead of places of worship. The people say it’s not their job to preach the gospel; that’s the pastor’s job. But the real church is not an institution; it’s a body of people who know and love Jesus as their Lord and Savior and follow Him. Jesus told us to be a light in this dark world, to help the needy, feed the poor, and preach the gospel to the whole world. Our lives are testimonies to others, and we are to always be ready with an answer when they ask about the hope and joy we have. We are God’s children and Christ’s disciples, and it IS our job to share the gospel so others will receive His salvation!
