Jesus warned us of the corruption that would consume this world before He returned. The despicable Olympic Celebrations displayed relentless acts of immorality and blasphemy and should be a clear warning to Christians that the time of Christ’s return is near. Jesus warned us in Matthew 24, and Paul gives even more detail in 2 Timothy 3:15 of what to expect in these last days. Satan’s minions are preparing for his rule through the evil one, so things will get worse as the end approaches. But for us who know and love Jesus, we won’t be here when the worst begins because Jesus told us to look up—He’s coming soon to get us!
