The Scriptures are God’s words to us! As Christians, we can’t focus on one line for our selfish desires; we must read ALL the passages around it to learn its full meaning. When God says that if we delight in Him, He’ll give us the desires of our hearts, He means that when we are joyful in His love, follow Jesus, and do HIS will, we take on His desires, the greatest being salvation for the lost! So, we continue in prayer and thanksgiving for the salvation of our loved ones with confidence, knowing that He will give us the desires of our hearts.
