Salvation goes far beyond the sinner’s prayer; it’s a commitment to Jesus! It’s knowing that He freed us from the world’s evil clutches and is now our Lord. It’s submitting to His authority by turning from the world’s system, studying the Scriptures, and having a relationship with Jesus. It’s realizing that He watches over us, protects us, blesses us, and leads us through our struggles. It’s wanting to praise our Lord because He walks with us every day, fights our battles for us through His Word, and is getting ready to call us Home before He pours His wrath upon this evil world.
