No one notices a lit candle in the bright of day. But everyone would see it if it continued to glow into the dark of night. This should be the incentive of every Christian—to shine brightly into the darkness of evil around us and light a path for the lost. We are God’s light in this dark, evil world, and people need to see us shine now more than ever. We can’t hide our light for fear of the world because God is with us and wants us to draw people to our light so they’ll see Him in us. So, let’s keep glowing strong while we can because our candles will soon be gone, and there will be only darkness.
