The world is big and overpowering. Most of us felt like lost pawns in its evil ploy to control us when we were part of it, but when we accepted Jesus as our Savior, HE became our Lord, and we were at peace. He’s the One who now watches over us, protects us, brings us through rough times, and blesses us! Though we live in this world, we know God is still in control—He made this world for us—and when we give every issue in our lives to Jesus and trust that His ways and timing are perfect, we’ll know we’re not lost pawns in a big world; we’re God’s children whom He holds in His hands.
