Many attempt to pray as a last resort when they’re desperate. Most won’t get their prayers answered and are convinced that God either doesn’t exist or doesn’t care. But prayer is not for unbelievers; it’s a privilege given to us when we accept Jesus as our Savior. God speaks to us through His Word, and we talk to Him in prayer. And we know God hears us because we belong to Him, and His Spirit is in us—the world does not have this privilege. Prayer is the link that bonds us to our Father and strengthens our relationship with Him. And we know He answers because He loves us!
